Les AVC sont la seconde cause mondiale de décès et l’une des premières causes d’invalidité chez l’adulte. Trois mois après un AVC, plus de 54 % des patients présentent un handicap. Le handicap causé par un AVC peut nécessiter une aide permanente pour la vie quotidienne.
